Family Dispute Resolution

Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) allows couples to determine the outcomes of their separation including Parenting Plans, agreements and Consent Orders.

FDR works well for couples and families who are experiencing separation, or who are trying to work out ways to agree about ongoing co-parenting matters, access or other complex issues.

Simone Finch will help you find a way to agree a way forward with the best interests of children in mind. The process can sometimes be challenging, but it is undertaken in good faith and is not adversarial. Parties find that FDR allows them to work towards a positive outcome with their children’s current and future needs in mind.

From January 2021, Finch Mediation will be pleased to provide FDR across Queensland and New South Wales. Offered either face-to-face or via Zoom, Finch Mediation especially looks forward to ensuring access to FDR for families and couples in rural and remote regions.
